BeneTrac is a great program and a great benefit to our company. We are very, very pleased. BeneTrac is intuitive, efficient, user- friendly, and customized to fit our needs. Their customer service personnel are first class. Any questions are answered quickly and accurately.
How long have you been using BeneTrac?
We started negotiating and talking with BeneTrac over two years ago. We just completed our second open enrollment. Open enrollments used to be a nightmare. With BeneTrac open enrollment has become a simple task--a real dream come true. Most of our employees have their own computer and account. They can access
their information, make changes at their desk and it only takes a few minutes with their own personalized page, which BeneTrac populates.
It's really one-stop shopping. Whereas before each employee would have at least five pieces of paperwork to be completed, collected and sent off to different carriers. Now everything is a click away.
Have you needed to have it customized?
BeneTrac built the site with the look and feel we wanted. We've installed BeneTrac on our company's Intranet, matching the HR site. We wanted the employees to feel the information given was secure.

How do you use BeneTrac on a daily basis?
There are all kinds of standard reports that can be run, allowing you to crosscheck information. Also, the information being transmitted is less likely to contain errors. When BeneTrac started downloading our benefits information onto BeneTrac discrepancies were found and corrected. They actually saved us money with billing errors. The time it saves is what we love most.
Who are your carriers and what types of benefits are administrated by BeneTrac?
Our carriers are Blue Shield, Kaiser, Guardian, VSP vision, Hartford's short-term disability and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary life, and EPA. We placed the logo of each carrier on the site next to their section allowing our employees to easily identify who their carrier is for each benefit. Also,
BeneTrac made links to all the carriers so the employees have ready access to information such as coverage, costs, websites, and other useful information.
Final words?
I highly recommend BeneTrac. I would wish all HR departments to have the ease of managing benefits for their company. I can't imagine ever going back to paper.
