As an H.R. professional, what comments would you offer about BeneTrac?
We started using BeneTrac a year ago. When we recently merged with another company, each employee had to fill out a different form for medical, life, LTD, and other benefits so that we could forward them to the proper carrier. BeneTrac was introduced to the new company. It's eliminates so much paperwork.
How did your first open enrollment go with BeneTrac?
It was so easy that I actually had some employees email me and ask me to check over their enrollment. They were concerned that they had done it wrong or missed something because it was too simple.
How many employees are on your system?
Including those with COBRA, about 225.
What would you tell anyone who is considering switching over to an electronic benefits administration program?
It's such a large elimination of time and paperwork. It's much easier to manage and more accurate because all the information needed is contained in the system and transmitted electronically to carriers. We don't actually use the billing report to pay bills, but I use it as an auditing tool and it is excellent.
Who are your primary carriers?
We use Principal, ING/ReliaStar and Hartford.
Final words?
BeneTrac's technical team is really on top of things. I'm so pleased with the exceptional, personalized service I receive. They always get back to me right away. They seem very capable and are very concerned about customer satisfaction.
