San Diego, CA, November 10, 2010 -- BeneTrac, a Paychex company and provider of powerful, web-based electronic enrollment and employee benefits administration software, and Trustnode today announced that they will jointly market their employee benefits products to brokers and employers. Trustnode is the creator of an online, interactive benefits education and enrollment platform driven by The Potters and Friends™, a cast of programmable, animated cartoon characters linked to an insurance knowledge base. The Trustnode platform enables insurance carriers and agents, benefits brokers, and employers to quickly and easily provide a personalized online experience that more effectively engages employees in the benefits enrollment process.
According to the agreement, BeneTrac will strategically add Trustnode's interactive employee education platform to existing corporate accounts and include it in its business development efforts. Trustnode will work with BeneTrac to configure its library of voluntary group insurance modules to include company branding and other assets as required by BeneTrac's customers, and include BeneTrac in its business development efforts.
One example of the power of Trustnode's approach is the experience of an 8,000-person nationwide retailer with 330 locations. Using Trustnode's interactive platform, the privately held retailer quadrupled participation rates obtained during the previous year's open enrollment period, which had relied on traditional education and enrollment tools. Trustnode's proprietary authoring platform enables it to quickly generate new character behaviors and scenarios.
"We are always looking for new, more interactive ways to better engage employees in the voluntary group benefits enrollment process. Trustnode's interactive platform enables us to accomplish this goal with a method that is truly compelling and unique in the marketplace. We are impressed with the response from employers who rapidly recognize, as we do, the value of Trustnode's approach in using creative illustrations to effectively engage employees in the voluntary group benefits enrollment process," said Art Brooks, vice president of business development, BeneTrac.
"We're thrilled to be working with BeneTrac. We look forward to enhancing BeneTrac's enrollment process for voluntary group insurance products. The increased participation rates garnered using The Potters and Friends validate our cognitive science-based approach to educating employees about voluntary insurance products, which can be complex and often difficult to grasp," said Kevin Dunn, Trustnode co-founder.
