Roman Joins Hawthorne Benefit Technologies as Regional Sales Director for Orange County

 

San Diego, Calif. -- May 28, 2002 – Jenna Roman has joined Hawthorne Benefit Technologies, Inc. in the position of Regional Sales Director, overseeing business development and sales for the company's BeneTrac product in the Orange County area. BeneTrac is a leading online employee benefits administration program.

Ms. Roman brings insurance industry expertise in implementation, underwriting, plan benefits, as well as knowledge of health care issues pertaining to state and federal legislation, and employee benefits administration. Prior to joining Hawthorne Benefit Technologies, Ms. Roman served as Director of Implementation and Client Support for Employer Benefit Services. Ms. Roman designed and implemented customized, web-based enrollment strategies for large group employers. Prior to Employer Benefit Services, Ms. Roman was the Regional Sales Director for Hawthorne/LISI, a leading group health insurance General Agency. Ms. Roman was responsible for new business sales and retention, conducted sales presentations and client benefit and enrollment meetings. She systemized the pre-underwriting process, streamlined proposal generation and delivery, and increased the efficiency of customer service processes. She also managed the sales support staff. Previous to Hawthorne/LISI, Ms. Roman held marketing positions with first United Healthcare and then Humana.

A resident of Irvine, Ms. Roman is an active member of both the Orange County Employee Benefits Council and the Orange County Association of Health Underwriters. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Policy and Management from the University of Southern California.
